Choose a module below to explore your sequenceSequence at a glance
View base counts, investigate motifs and inspect common 3-mers. GC percentages exclude ambiguous IUPAC positions from the denominator.

Six-frame translation & ORF discovery
Uses the standard genetic code and reports complete ATG-to-stop ORFs on both strands. Reverse-strand coordinates reference the original sequence.
| Strand/frame | Start | End | AA length | Protein |

Restriction site map
Exact recognition-site search for selected enzymes on a linear sequence. Positions are 1-based and cut coordinates are between bases; methylation, partial digests and circular templates are not modeled.
| Enzyme | Recognition | Starts at | Cut after base |

Pairwise nucleotide alignment
Needleman–Wunsch global or Smith–Waterman local alignment with a constant gap penalty. For quick comparisons up to 700 nucleotides per sequence; not equivalent to a genome alignment pipeline.
RNA secondary-structure explorer
Computes a pseudoknot-free, maximum-pair structure using Nussinov dynamic programming. Supports AU, GC and optional GU wobble pairing. This does not calculate free energy or ViennaRNA RNAfold thermodynamics.
